Are Your HOA Docs About to Expire?

If your community is approaching 30 years old, your association documents may be about to expire.

If you haven’t heard of The Florida Marketable Record Title Act (MRTA) and you are on the Board of Directors of an HOA, please take some time to check your documents!

In an effort to simplify the process for real property title searches, MRTA can also clear any obligations or claims against a property title that is more than 30 years old as an unintended consequence. This act can consequently impact the covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&R) of your community.

The good news is that this can all be easily prevented by reviewing and reinstating your docs if they have expired.
