So you’ve just been elected or appointed to your association’s board…. now what?

The first thing I tell new board members is to take a certification class to help get a handle on what their duties and roles are as board members of their association. While this class is not a requirement (there is a waiver that can be signed) it does help explain the rules and regulations at the state level that govern HOA and COAs.
